How it works

Buying

1. Find a listing with the search, the universes and the categories. Check the verified reviews and the seller’s profile. Nothing matches? Post a request: creators will send you their proposals.
2. Ask the seller your questions through the messages. If the listing is “negotiable”, offer a price.
3. Pay on BDKSHOP by card. No extra fees for the buyer. Did a seller give you a promo code? Enter it at checkout.
4. Receive your order: instant download for files, delivery within the stated time for services and projects.
5. Confirm receipt: the seller is then paid. You can leave a review.

Secure payment

When you pay, the money is not sent to the seller: it is held by our payment provider (Stripe, a licensed institution) on behalf of BDKSHOP. It is only paid to the seller once the order is confirmed:

• by you, by clicking “Confirm receipt”;
• or automatically, 3 days after a file is delivered and 7 days after a service is delivered, if you have not reported any problem.

Never pay outside BDKSHOP (bank transfer, PayPal “friends and family”, gift cards, cryptocurrencies…). A seller who asks you to almost always wants to scam you: report them.

Licence keys and personal files

Some products work with a licence key, shown on your order page: enter it in the product’s configuration, as the seller explains. It works on a limited number of installations; if you change server, click “Change server” (once a week). Every downloaded file is personal and carries your order’s fingerprint: do not share it.

Alerts and notifications

On the listings page, click “Create an alert for this search” to receive the new listings every morning. Your favourites also tell you when their price drops. In “Notifications › Settings”, choose what you receive by email and paste a webhook URL to receive your notifications in your Discord server.

Disputes and refunds

A problem with an order? First write to the seller: most issues are solved in a few messages. Otherwise, click “Report a problem” on the order page before it is confirmed:

• the payment stays held during the dispute;
• each party can give their explanations and evidence;
• the BDKSHOP team reviews the exchanges and decides: full refund for the buyer or payment to the seller.

If a service is not delivered within the stated time, you can also cancel it yourself and be refunded immediately.

Selling

1. Create your account and confirm your email address.
2. Complete your seller profile (private individual or business).
3. Verify your payment account: our provider checks your identity and records your IBAN. It is required to receive money and it reassures buyers.
4. Publish your listing. It is checked by the team before going online (usually within 24 h).

There are three types of listings:

• Digital product: a file delivered automatically with each purchase (plugin, map, configuration, template…). Your updates are available to all your buyers.
• Service: work done after the order, within a time you set.
• Project for sale: a complete project sold to a single buyer (server, website, community…).

Seller tools

• Packages: offer a service as Basic, Standard and Premium, each with its own price, lead time and content.
• Sales and promo codes: start a sale (the struck-through price is calculated for you, as required by law) or create codes to share with your community.
• Anti-leak: a fingerprint on every download, a licence key checked by your script, and a tool to find the buyer behind a shared copy.
• Statistics: views, favourites, sales and conversion rate of each listing.
• New versions: publish an update and your buyers are notified automatically.
• Requests: answer the needs posted by buyers with a custom proposal.
• Promotion: show a listing in “Featured” and at the top of results, marked “Sponsored”.
• Referral: invite other creators and receive a share of our commission on their sales.
• Invoices and statements: a monthly commission invoice and a PDF statement of your sales, for your accounting.

How much does it cost?

Publishing is free. BDKSHOP takes a commission of 10% on each completed sale (minimum €0.30), which covers payment fees, file hosting, moderation and dispute handling. The exact amount you will receive is shown when you set your price.

Protect your account

• Enable two-factor authentication under “Security”: even with your password, nobody will be able to sign in.
• The BDKSHOP team will never ask for your password or your codes.
• Scan downloaded files with your antivirus. Executable programs are forbidden on BDKSHOP.
